Starter .. Solenoid Question

Hi All

Can someone please tell me what the unit is above the solenoid and starter motor ??uploadfromtaptalk1432019815516.jpg

Yep, starter solenoid relay.

Hmmm so the starter relay from the ignition isn't one of the relays on the bulkhead in font of the gearstick ???

The one on the solenoid is extra to the one in the cab. Only the Mitsubishi type starters as on the perenties has this one.

Who knows. I presume to lower current draw through the main wiring.

Ah .. so the ignition is wired directly to this relay and not a relay on the firewall in the cab ????
