    You will need the tool to install the new type as you have to drive the seal and the sleeve together, I made one up from 2 pieces of pipe.

    Will see if i can find some info on it. Can i get the seal from a bearing place or only isuzu?

    Apart from the link to that one on ebay which appears to be a counterfeit copy, I think only LR sell them. That BYG number is LR and not Isuzu. Pretty sure it only came about because the ADF had so much trouble with leaking rear seals. I do have a SKF number somewhere at home (up north atm) won't be home until Tuesday. I think it's in an old thread here somewhere. I believe SKF manufactured them for LR. I can chase it up when I get home if you like.

    I'm not sure. Probably only through LR - that's what usually happens with these AYG/BYG parts.

    Brian, whats the sleeve for?? Little confused as to why itals a 2 part seal, is it like a speedy sleeve??

    Yes exactly that. It is a sleeve integrated into the seal. The sleeve has a lip turned over so you cannot remove it from the seal part and consequently they both have to be installed together.
