    Isuzu MPR59L 4bd1 Temperature gauge not working

    I'm just wondering whether anyone knows the part number for the temperature sensor for a 1988 model? My temp gauge is not working. I'm not sure what the problem is but could it possible be a faulty sensor? Many thanks all

    What vehicle is it in? a landrover or Isuzu truck.

    It's an Isuzu Truck, NPR59L (8m old luton freezer truck converted to motorhome). 1988. Reading erratically. I took it on a long drive and drove like a champion. Starts first time every time. WOuld be good know its reliable. Many thanks

    Sounds like the gauge's earth is dodgy, I'd check that first.

    I had an erratic gauge, as Dervish said it was the earth on the gauge itself behind the instrument cluster. It looked OK but was loose and the connectivity would change whilst driving giving false readings.
