    Muffler replacement

    G'day All,
My 1984 County Isuzu needs a new muffler, it would be the original muffler fitted to the vehicle when new, I have owned it since 1990/91 and have never replaced it, here is an image of it showing the relationship of the pipe to muffler

and from the rear, the outlet is in the middle

this image is from above (if the vehicle had no floor, long pipe to engine pipe)

so my question is this, has anyone here had any luck in getting a replacement the same as mine??, I'm not really in favour of some-ones idea of a new system that suits their pocket, I would really like a genuine L/R product, any clues cheers Dennis

if you are that keen- get someone to fix it. It isn't hard but it is time consuming. I believe it would be well nigh on impossible to find a O/E NOS muffler.
