JC it was a bloke on outer limits that I spoke to over 10 years ago, it was in an inter scout and by his account it flew.
I considered it as a swap for my 85 rrc with TF727.

Thanks yes i remember now!. The scout box is the same so I'm thinking of going that way. I have a complete 727 and all bits from a rrc given to me and i have all the 4bd1 to v8 rover pattern adapters still. Runni g 255/85/16 will het the gearing back up and with the low slippage through the 727 ill only lose about 150 to 200rpm at cruise. Im not towing anymore with the county so it'll work out fine. I'm having issues with left knee and lrft shoulder making the 1.1t clutch and long throw shift hard on me in offroad and traffic...😑

Was it a post in any group or page you can remember? I'm tempted to go manualised and looking at some of the usa sites for inspiration. We must have some 727 experts in this country too though...

I honestly can't remember jc, try aulro, hmlr, or Aussie landrover pages. Its was just one comment from someone. May have even been in the links I put up on there to Sheldon's eBay add for msa conversions

There is someone buzzing around Coolum (on the sunny coast) with a 3 speed auto behind their Isuzu in a 110.

    Would guess its the 727.

Was about 8 years ago now that I chatted to them and didn't pay too much attention to what box it was....
