    Thermostat housing

I have a thermostat housing that is leaking around the brass plug. The plug threads are stripped.
Land Rover don't sell this plug..
Went to Bunning as it looks like a plumping plug but not the same.
Are the housing and plug Isuzu parts?
    It Is a 110 Isuzu 1985 4bd1
    Thanks

The brass plug is an Isuzu part number but LRA should stock it. Do you have the part number?

    Hi Brian,
The plug PN - ERC 7312 : washer 232046 are numbers from my 110 parts book.
From Gilbert and Roach plug MYH2683 : WASHER MYH2898
    HOUSING AYG2465.

Isuzu didn't have the parts and land rover couldn't find parts. LR tried to sell me a defender plug which has a much coarser thread.

    So I am still looking.

With the correct PN I've found Isuzu dealers to be excellent. You'll get funny looks and odd questions about what it is in but I've found them to be fast and not too expensive.

The housings are hard to come by. Got a Call today and found a good second hand one.
    Will replace thermostat and o-ring.
