Mark, there are quite a few versions of the LT95 but basically all the gearboxes themselves are the same apart from minor differences like selectors and reverse idler shaft and they all have the same gear ratios. The transfer case is a different story. There are quite a few different ratios and things like the rear output housing and handbrake are different on the RR, 101 and S3 stage 1. Only the military LT95A and the 101's run a tapered roller bearing intermediate shaft and they are a different type for each of them. Later HC RRovers around '82-'84 ran the same ratio and large handbrake as the civvy 110 Isuzu and the military version but not the tapered roller bearing setup. All the bits are interchangeable and you can make a later type one up from an earlier version if you have the necessary bits. The Isuzu version runs a different clutch bellhousing to the V8 models and the 101 has a different one and a shorter input shaft to the RR V8 as well. Have a look at the serial numbers on the transfer case and that will give you some idea of the age and application.
