Thread: Clutches for High Performance Isuzu's

Have a talk to the guys at NPC clutches. They do a lot of high performance clutches, anything from heavy duty organic clutches, cushioned button ceramic and full button. They start with heavy duty Exedy clutches and modify them with higher clamping, etc. they have been putting 1400-1600 nm rated clutches behind cruiser V8’s
I have a modified rodeo which was slipping heavy duty clutches. The NPC clutch I put in has had no dramas since.

Yup have emailed them and got one response, still waiting up on responses to follow up questions.

Hey mate,

I have a clutch that will fit your flywheel and has 1300kg of clamp pressure and we rate it to approx. 600nm @ the flywheel.
I can supply this for $755inc gst

I could supply a stronger kit again that we rate to approx. 700nm @ the flywheel for $865inc gst.
This option will get a firmer pedal effort.

Both of these options are using organic clutch plates. If you are using the vehicle off road then this would be the best option to have for being able to balance the clutch when you need to.
