There is no alternative that I know of. Last one I got, a year ago, was $50 from Fred Smith in Melbourne. Still not cheap, but better than that!

I bought mine just the other week from Isuzu (Major Motors in Perth) and it was $64.71+GST so just over $70... ouch!

As well as that I bought a new rubber 'O' gasket which was another $6.98 +GST.

Still a bit cheaper than your dealer quoted, but not as good as the Repco price

By comparison, I just bought a new airfilter main element which is a genuine Donaldson item (bloody massive thing) and it was only $28 incl GST - bargain in my book

The one I got for my Isuzu County with a 4BD1 (non turbo) is part no: P900433, two places quoted me the list price as $34.01 + GST.

When I went to pick one up from Hitachi Construction Machinery in Welshpool (Perth) they gave me a 25% discount! I didn't even ask - I must just look like a tight git!

Looks like they all charge a different price. I got one at Brisbane Isuzu for $53 including the rubber seal. The LR dealer quoted $84. Repco ans Supercheap both listed one but it was not correct, being a small item like a standard passenger car type.
