You never replied about the flares?

No Flares... At least not yet


Pressie is going on Wednesday.


We hope to catch up with You and Emily on the way back down... By then I'll have heaps of ochre coloured dirt on the truck and some good photos and tall stories that require beer to help in the telling

Give me as much notice as you can, I'll take work off...........or arrange coverage to be *cough* sick *cough*

Room in the house for you's, we can leave the girls and venture of to the shed............for any repairs you require

Be good, I'm sure I can get Bethany to smile again, and Rosie's always smiling

The girls are a bit excited about the trip, but strangely enough Rosie says she'll miss school too much, And Beth, well.... will miss her laptop and mobile...

They'll soon forget it all when faced with thousands of squre miles of open sky and savannahs, tropical beaches and their favourite aunt in Cairns!

And We'll look forward to a rest at the 'Rangie restoration station....'

You do know 90% of rangie that come there..................its their last road going days (insert creepy music)

Other rangies have been known to be quite scared, the feeling on being at a property where near 40odd rangies have met their demise (and turn into beer, thanks to scrap steel), is quite eerie

Generally no Rangie ever leaves, not missing something........scraps from flare fitting, quarter cutting, pulling out cruddy old rover motor's for other things

Sounds like the 'Hotel California...' -or an abbattoir. They reckon cattle know when they are soon to get the chop, and just stand there, dejected looking, waiting....

I've seen them freak out. Usually about the 3rd one back in the que, the penny drops and they go ballistic.
