I can only help ya from one angle... when I replaced mine, I found that the part was cheapest from the isuzu parts joint (westar trucks in Coburg for my case), not LR or LR specialists... took a lot of searching back through three generations of parts books to find the modern equivalent, but we got there in the end

Cheers, well incase i need one

I was going to research some of your posts, you sourced parts for the EDIC motor, yea?

The one I got off JC the motor housing is badly rusted, with holes and all, hence the tear down, working fine, but when it spins, its noisy, the lower bush was also suffering from corrosion and is loose

"might" replaceit, price dependant of course

There must be some bad traits, from still working on jappers every now and then

I seem to recall rar110 got a start-stop solenoid (EDIC) for a reasonable price from somewhere. I found a place in china that sold them, but dealing with them was a bit difficult.

I have my wiring diagram now, but I assume you are sorted?

The place I bought the stop control solenoid doesn't stock them anymore. Brian bought one from Singapore about a year ago. I remember it was a good price.

I put a Isuzu stage 1 circuit diagram up a while ago. It's still there a couple of pages back if your looking for one.

    EchiDna, or anyone else,
I think my oil pressure switch isn't working, well I hope thats the problem, does anyone have a current part number for the switch?
Dave's Disc's parts diagrams indicate it is either 983140-1570 or 983140-3100, but can't find either in online parts searches.

Is there a way to test the pressure switch without knowing if oil is coming up to pressure? My oil warning light won't go out though oil is still being pumped to the rockers...
