    I've got V8 mounts.
With custom mounts spanning from the mounts on the Isuzu block, back to the existing chassis mounts.
It lets me use industrial AV mounts which are softer and transmit less noise/vibration. But there are downsides. It's tight for the exhaust dump-pipe and I think my current mounts are a little too soft, resulting in some resonance during full torque (500+Nm) at low rpm.

    Congrats Inc,

    Words of warning

A: Driving an Isuzu increases your libido, something to do with them good vibrations.

B: Keep it away from Blknight, it took my a week to clean up the biological mess he left on my front lawn when the bonnet was opened, the lawn has still not recovered.

I'd like to post pics of mine with the Simex's on but this is a family friendly form and the images may be considered as porn.

It would go away if I wound the fuel and boost back down. But I don't like that solution.

You can't buy the chassis part of the engine mount as a part as far as I know.
You just have to fabricate them when you change from a V8 to an Isuzu.

    This is the V8 mount.

These are the mounts I fabricated for the Isuzu.

Also, the Land Rover mounts are different to Isuzu truck mounts.

    Engine mounts pics

hope this is what you are looking for. The ruler didn't show to well in the pic but the measurement was 220 mm from the rear edge of the front chassis to the fwd edge of the isuzu engine mount (factory). The vevicle is a stage 1 Series 3. I'm currently doing an engine swap. I am getting a new set of engine mounts made as we speak. The mounts are simple and I couldn't see the point of cutting into a good series 3 chassis. The template for the engine mounts is with the engineering firm but I can send some more details and photos if req'd hopefully after 20th this month. I am currently fitting the isuzu into a 130 and will make a bit of a dairy as I go, it may help someone. any qustions just ask. I'm no expert but i'll give anything a go.

    Cheers
    Bill
