Well we made it home! thats gotta be a good start!

My ever deepening descent in to landymania took another leap today.

"The Incasaurus" or the big red money pit survived the journey from the sunshine coast to my driveway with little fuss.

Its a 1985 County with a transplanted 4BD1-T and 5 speed santana box.

has a tjm winch bar and side steps. Been fitted with king springs and not sure what breed of shocks.

Gets along just nice (a lot nicer than the speedo would have you believe!)

It is fairly complete tho a little rough in places, but that will get sorted over time.

first task was a good clean up, 3 buckets of sand and mud later most of the muck was off it and it was starting to look like someone cares for it...

Needs engine and gearbox mounts changing, the brakes need new shoes and pads and maybe a wheel cylinder or two. the rear cross member needs replacing as well.

it has some body damage to the passenger rear and to the roof so a replacement rear body and roof will be in order.

a couple of questions if i may...

anyone know what breed and size this alternator would be ?

and finally, how do i escape this madness?

...can't you get some kind of government assistance for breeding rare and endangered species in captivity???

I'd put a proposal together quick smart Inc!!! The federal government is feeling all warm and fuzzy lately after being pontificated at this week!
