The truck bellhousing puts the starter lower than the landrover, so you'll need to notch the chassis rail.
Not a big problem, just one people should be aware of beforehand.

I have the 2 bolt starter bellhousing drawn up in solidworks if it'll help anyone.

From what I've read the truck bellhousing uses the 2 bolt 24v starter motor.

Is this correct or is there a 2 bolt 12v starter?

What bolt pattern does your bellhousing have?

    I may be interested.

    Hi Corgie Carrier

There is another style of truck flywheel housing. My engine from an 1988 Isuzu NPR truck has a three bolt 12V starter. The starter even sits higher than the two bolt 24V VERSION see pictures of the two truck styles and land rover version on my post on here. http://www.aulro.com/afvb/isuzu-land...v-starter.html

    Hi Justin

    Thanks for that.

I still haven't decided exactly which box I am going to run, yet.

I have two lt95s, but I am also thinking of running an Isuzu 5spd box like Dougal.

    Decisions, decisions.

Still have a lot to do until I get to the needing a box part, hopefully I will have made a decision by then.

It would be starting to get cold over your way wouldn't it?
I was in Niagra Falls a couple of years ago, great place and the people are just like displaced Aussies.
