Calibration of Diesel Pumps
My recently aquired 85 county (229000kms) came fitted with a turbo & intercooler. May never have had the pump checked, recalibrated. So when, how often & by whom. Any clues.

Any decent diesel injection shop should be able to calibrate the pump. If you remove the pump yourself, will cost less.
If you only want more go, fit an egt set-up, then start adjusting the max fuel screw on the right side of the governor (out to increase fuel). You can do this yourself, a small adjustment at a time then road test on a good hill that will load it up with the pedal flat - watching that the egt's and smoke are ok.
