Has anyone tried a 4.3 Isuzu?

Just out of interest, as I been known to have a bit to do with Isuzu trucks, has anyone thought about or done a late 4.3 motor into a Landy?
Would it fit? It is taller but you could overcome that with Puma Bonnet!

Nope, you were thinking about the 4HE1.
4BE1 is a 3.6 litre short stroke 4BD1 with a VE injection pump.

Well, has anyone done it. 4bg1 into a defender?
I have a 4bg1 in a 1989 npr400 truck. I also have a wreck with a 4bd1 in it. My 130 currently has a 4bd1 perentie motor and perentie lt95 in it. Am thinking of downgrading the truck motor to the 4bd1 and taking the 4.3 4bg1 and putting it in the 130. The extra torque would be so nice!
From what I can see the engine is identical to look at however the Flywheel housing is longer. If I were to use the 3.9 Flywheel and housing?
Seems to be very limited info on this
