    plumbing in a glind hot water system

    where is the best place to take off and return a hot water line to supply a glind heat exchanger unit ?
    2007 Discovery 3 SE7 TDV6 2.7
    2012 SZ Territory TX 2.7 TDCi

    I would have thought that the best place would be on the heater pipes just before the firewall,

    That way you should also be able to mount the HE on the firwall and make it secure

    i dont have a heater and dont know where they would plumb in either, sorry

    Despite the fact that you dont have a heater there should be tappings on the cooling system - which are currently blanked off

    If it's on a 4BD1 - sorry I dont have a clue where - but they should be there

    Dave,

    You'll find a short by-pass hose coming from the water pump and going into the bottom of the thermostat housing, right under the top radiator hose.
