Moding isuzu exhaust???

There's only 6" difference in wheelbase between a RRC and a 90. Plenty of RRC's running 4BD1T's.
My RRC with the Isuzu up front is 1170kg front and 1130kg rear (empty). I've never seen a vehicle rolling over forwards going downhill, going over backwards going up seems more common.

It's 7.1", but I take your point. Factory figs for a (stock) soft-top V8 Ninety are 1603 kg compared to a mid eighties RR 1790 kg. It would be interesting to see the axle weights of Def90s rig compared to yours.

Thanks, they were the ones I was looking at as well. $155 with postage to WA, bloody good price I say! + he's got a few of them.

Just not sure if I need one yet... Routing both the exhaust and the PTO betweeen the chassis rails seems like a big job. Will have to wait til the PTO gets delivered to see how it fits and if I can squeze it past the winged sump.

Wouldn't mind having the extra litre of oil splashing around if I can help it. :D

IMHO it would be too tight routing the exhaust inwards of the chassis rails, with a PTO fitted, regardless of the sump being wingless. Access to the starter motor is tight at best, and a hot exhaust close by probably is not the best for longevity, not forgetting the PTO uni-joints. To clear all, it would be to low and to vulnerable, even with 33's.

Well after a weekend at Levuka the exhaust was starting to fall off due to it being rusted and the tyres rubbing pretty badly:twisted:
So it spent the day at our local exhaust man.
In the end we ended up with a 2.5" system all the way through with a nice tight bend around the Chassis/outrigger so now there is about a 1.5" gap in between the tyre and exhaust on full lock:cool:

So we are very happy now we can fit 33's on without a prob:cool:
in the end it cost us $420 all up:)

I may have missed It but how wide and what offset are the rims on it.?

The tyres are only 33/10.5/15's, the rims arn't very off-setted;)
