AND I'm getting 12/100 city and 13/100 highway and 15/100 highway towing 2 tons at 100km/hr. Got to love a big cube turbo intercooled diesel for low down torque and top end go if geared right:)
The last one we fitted to a 130 with a LT85 behind it destroyed 5th gear because it COULD tow 2 tons all day in 5th:o He has gone to 33's and uses 4th gear now for all the hard work.
It is really hard to actually convey just how good these engines are in a landy/ rangie. You really need to drive one.

The other thing to remember how good they are off road with engine braking.

Min has 315/75/16's (35's), LT85 and 4.1 diffs and I followed a 40 series with 31's and a JK Jeep with 35's down a 35-40 deg hill, they were on the brakes all the way down, I did not use the brakes at all and was getting board and had to use some throttle to keep up with the others :)
