A mate has a 300Tdi Safari snorkel on his Isuzu County but you may have to modify some of the hose connections to suit. It should be pretty straight forward.

Hey guys,
I'm looking to put a snorkle on the county, and just need to check which snorkle can you use on the Isuzu? will the 300tdi or TD5 be ok?
Cheers

We have a defender snorkal on our isuzu county, the intake pipe was way to narrow so we just replaced it with some 3'' flexxy hose

A snorkel for the TD5 Defender would be no use at all as the TD5's breath through a grille already in the drivers side (RHS) guard. The snorkel uses all the existing pipework behind the guard which you won't have.
I reckon this one from Safari is the best for the 110 Isuzu County:
Safari Snorkel System - SS525HF
It's designed for the V8 110 County & 200 series Defender and fits on the drivers side. The most important bit compared to all the other Safari kits, is that this one comes with a 3" (75mm) diameter connecting hose that's designed to work with the V8 motor (which although only 3.5 litre in the 110, obviously revs higher than the 4BD1 Isuzu so flows much more air volume).
The hose is 1.4m long which will be too long for the Isuzu 110 application so will need to be shortened.
Here's the fitting instructions and parts list for the SS525HF:
Safari - Snorkels
If buying new and you have the choice; I wouldn't recommend the 300Tdi one (Safari ref SS550HF) as from reading the specs it comes with a smaller 60mm ID inlet hose that's only 400mm long. I would have thought that the 60mm ID hose would be restrictive on the 3.9 4BD1, it's certainly smaller than the inlet to the air cleaner element.
In any case. here's the spec sheet & parts list for that kit:

i remeber being told a comment made by an Isuzu owner. that after his fitting of a Turbo. the guy who did his tuning said he got quite a bit more flow out of his home made 3"? snorkel than out of any of the off the shelf items. haveing had a good Gander at his setup and comparing to my off the shelf item. i must say that i am not surpised.
if i was doing it again i would make one up myself. bring the pipe up though the top grill then down the gard.
With STAINLESS steel........ You can make your own

I refuse to pay $400-500 for a piece of plastic. Much cheaper to make your own.
