    wingless sump

Can someone point me in the right direction, i am looking for a sump for my 4bd1, the wingless one to be exact. Tried GWD Enterprises on ebay as they had some second hand ones but all gone now

G'day All, Wingless sumps for Isuzu engines were primarily designed for the military 4BD1 engine, i had a1 but sold it to a enthusiast in canberra quite a few years back, not sure whether it would be a listed Isuzu part? hope thats of some help cheers Dennis

The later 110 Isuzu's all had wingless sumps didn't they? Mine is one of the later 110's and has a wingless sump.

Don't know when the sump change came about, but probably when the engine spec changed slightly and they got a few extra kW (upped to 72kW) from around 1987/88 IIRC.

a sump without wings, it is like a normal sump, the wing type ones go out to the sides at the lower part of the pan

I think only on one side..??

Anyway, my 4BD1t was a Japanese import - ex-truck motor - and is wingless.

Have a go at a truck wrecker or maybe someone (perhaps Dougal) could advise if a 4BE1 sump will suit....

    Good luck mate.

    Matt.

That's the oil pan part no. from the Perentie parts list. The illustration doesn't show any wings on the sump. It looks like a conventional sump.
