Do Isuzu truck come out with an auto that could be fitted to the landy transfer case. that would make it an easier transplant no playing with the ZF trying to make it take the power / torque

Personally, I think the question is...

"Whats wrong with your cooling system that you've cooked 2 motors?"

It seems that most sold in the USA (rebadged by GM) have autos.

I have no experience with autos and don't know how difficult it would be to adapt an LT230 to.

Edit: Some Isuzu's have an Aisin auto similar to what is in some Landcruisers, and one person in USA has used parts from a Landcruiser auto to adapt the cruiser transfer case to Isuzu auto.

Isuzu trucks do come with an auto option but fitting one in Landy might be tricky

In regards to the Aisin autoboxes that the trucks ran, I asked a service manager at our truck dealership about them back when I first decided to fit a 4BD1 to the RR, and was warned off them for reliabilities sake, they had heaps of problems with them, even during warranty apparently. Thats why I went with the ZF. I did consider a toyota 4spd cruiser auto mated to an LT230, but the width of the bellhousing etc put me off a little.

The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈

Some of the US market NPR's came with a Jatco, I've never seen or heard of one so I can just imagine how good the parts supply is.

The adapters are available to fit a 700R4 in. Isuzudieselswapper adapter on the truck bellhousing and marks adapters to the LT230. I suspect the length will increase a lot.
