    lt95 Isuzu Clutch throwout bearing

I'm in the process of fitting up an lt95 to replace a tired lt85 in the County.
I've just put the gearbox in & find the pushrod is approx 25mm too short to fit the slave cyl.
I did a search & found Murrays ( rigidij) pic below.

So that explains the problem. My question is, seeing as I've bolted it up & replaced the mount brackets so far, would I get away with extending the rod to make it up? My thoughts would be why did they go for the longer bearing & not a longer rod? BTW I got the longer rod- its the 193mm one along with the different splined clutch plate & bellhousing off Fred Smith,- he said thats all I need but maybe he overlooked the bearing??

    Thanks, David

David, I hate to tell you this, but there is no easy way out of this one. unfortunately you will have to unbolt the box and replace the bearing. the length of the throw of the clutch fork is not enough even with a longer pushrod. AYG3339 is the part you need or get a sleeve made up to put on your V8 throwout bearing.Regards.....Brian

Thanks, it could have been worse, drive shafts speedo cable etc are yet to go on.
Or I could have done what a mate did & put the whole lot back & then find the bearing on the work bench
