Rubber fuel line and new hose clamps.
I've seen in a few recent threads some things that have made me go 'ah, i'll order one of them and put it in my spares box for trips!'
I can't find a thread about this for the Isuzu so I figured I would start one, but do shoot me down in flames if my searching ability is bad.

nothing you can eaisily repair in the field ever goes wrong with the ISUZU engine its usually crap that it shakes to pieces on the vehicle.
the spares you should take depend on how far and how long you're going for.
Its a fairly common engine and has been around in a few guises for a while if you know where to look spares are available in lots of places.
My question is....
what level of trouble are you looking to get into or out of?

how good are you with the spanners?
Id suggest that for the engine you shouldnt need more than a set of filters and hoses.
the rest is just per every other vehicle, bearings, oils, fluids, fuses, bulbs, goops.

Fanbelt and thermostat would be pretty high on my list and they don't take up much room.
