So we can say 2000Nm is a safe margin? Beyond that the tyres are going to slip rather than shaft break? And 3500Nm is attainable on stock turbo if you rev the guts out of it?

What is a reasonable output for 4BD1T with the right turbo, intercooled and fuelled appropriately with a stock pump.
Put that in a fully loaded 130, 2,200 kg rear axle load, 4,000 kg trailer, lock the centre diff if need be.
Would you get wheel spin in 1st gear wide open throttle?
And no I don't mean rev it up and dump the clutch:eek:

Are you on tarmac or dirt?
If you are on tarmac and locking the diff, then you're trying to break something. If you are on dirt, then even with the diff locked you've got less traction than tarmac unlocked.
It's not hard to get individual wheels going on tarmac. Even fully loaded your front axle weight will be less and that is the limit of your applied torque.
Ultimately what we have here is a money making venture for someone else. If they are making money off it, then surely they can do their own calcs. If not, I'm sure they can find an email for me or someone else suitably qualified and fund a few hours work.
Outcast update. For his own purposes Greg will be arranging production of two or three adaptor kits (housing and shaft) in the next two or three weeks. Unless some viable alternative comes along I intend to piggy back on Gregs production run and get a kit made for my self. Such a limited run will be expensive. If anyone is still interested in the MSA to LT230 adaptor then please contact Greg.

In which case I'd be interested in the adapter housing and buy the shaft direct.

I wrote to rakeway ages ago on ashcroft suggestion when chasing this issue. Got no response. Add says supported by input gear, but look of the shaft suggests bearing support as well ie any machining of transfer case box required? As Ancient suggests adaption between Isuzu drive flange and rakeway flange would be required I think.
