Is gst normally applied to price of 2nd hand parts?

I dont sell s/h parts inc gst, but some people seem to. Could be their business structure???.

I am pretty certain I'll give the twin turbo's a go. We have a big trip to Coffs Harbour coming up in November. After that I'll start fabricating.

do you have any more details on the GT2556V? I did a quick google. There seems to be different types with this model number. What sort of money is this turbo? GT2559V seems more widely available.

    thanks

As far as I know, the previous owner of my 130 paid $2400 for the brand new GT2556V from Alisport in the UK.

I know he bought a complete kit that included turbo, manifold, intercooler and silicon hoses. So was $2400 for the turbo + $$$ for the other items and shipping.

If it was $2400 for the lot incl shipping, that sounds like a good deal.

Has anyone got a variable nozzle turbo working yet?
I just stripped my IHI turbo to rebuild but it''s too far gone,so now I'm looking at what the best options are for a replacement. If the vnt is too tricky would the garrett as fitted to the late 4BD1T's and manifold be the way to go?
There's so much talk of different turbo's and some being better than others,I would like to hear from peoples first hand experience of a good reliable set up.
    Cheers Eric.

The alisport kit cost 1255GBP plus 100gbp shipping atm ~ $2300 delivered todays exchange.
The kit includes: exhaust down pipe to flex, hard pipes, silicone joiners, oil feed /return...

It would be worth checking with Andrew at Alisport what he would charge just for the turbo would save a bit I imagine, certainly will be a saving on the 3 gorillas quote from IVECO...

I have just fitted a Garrett 466409-2a to my engine - same turbo as Justin C is running. It is working brilliantly. I have sent a PM

I have a T2560R on mine. From an SR20DET. Cost ~$300 and works very well. I have done over 40k km with it fitted, no problems.
