I recall that series 1 has LWB rear springs up front and long chevy springs on the rear.

It is in North America. Was built by Tim Cooper and used by him for many years, sold to the person who posted those pics and was up for sale recently.

I think Ben could be right about the springs.

Below is a pic showing the rear springs, and some others that I like.

    Edit:
    More pics here

Definitely one of the best set up leafers around. The 101 axles are nice too!!!

the front springs standard are to short so that is a fantastic coversion to do. dose anyone know how involved it would be and engineering is it easy to pass, even the susuki 4x4 do similar conversions thay cal it RUF rear up front, the use a rear spring up the front end with a 2 inch lift shackle, makes things flex much better.

The front springs are short, but they are not too bad. My front springs flex at least as well as the rear.

IRC Tim's has been modified by extending the dumb irons, thereby extending the wheelbase. Fronts are 36", rears are 48", so you would get 6" of extra wheelbase... However I think others have kept the same wheelbase...

Tims is also SOA, which is an illegal modification in QLD (and possibly other states) - not sure what the NCOP says about SOA...
