Naaaaah, Lockee has it. Really well thought out thing.

I didn't want it because the configuration in the cargo bay didn't suit the stuff I cart around or the lpg tank in my POS.

    cheers, DL

The only thing I can think that was wrong with it is that it needs to be notched or mounted 10 to 15 mm back where it mounts to the floor at the B pillar because you can't get the front seats out of the car backwards.

Just needs to clear the seat base by not much.

Not a lot in it. Lockee is a smart bloke.

    cheers, DL

    As Vern said new cages.

So now have a surplus 2 door cage.

Will post photos up as we progress.

Verns one was bent up yesterday and is mint.

Not a comp cage but a safety item.

    Thumbs up roll cage

If you handy with a mig and tig pretty easy to make a cage , the worst is where to put in your cross-over or reinforcement bars so it just does not go sideways and bent being useless..I know you must have ease of access ( egress ) for vic-toads but I am making one going across behind the front seats then twin middles to the rear wheel arches on rather than large soul plates (base plates) then add another cross over as to cage in from the tools and camp gear coming forward and killing you, that with a good auto fire system keeps the family safe..

im awaiting back surgery hence why my LS7 killer is not finished but in a couple of years im hoping to be a proud man in finally finishing my project..

    Good luck anyway..

Basic cage we are getting done is as picture J-3, except the hoops are at b and c pillars, with b pillar hoop bent back just behind drivers head. Bar work across c pillar hoop is yet to be decided
