Thanks for the positive feedback guys, it really took 18 months to build (had to leave it for a while to ready the 130 for last year's desert trip). Such a contrast to the 130 too. Really it's the 2 Lockrights that make it capable though!
I'm short and it's still a little hard to get into, fine once you're in though. It's a basher but with number plates.

My first car was the LJ80, the first change was to Desert Duellers from the death traps of the original tractor tyres.
Used to work (was employed by) Logan City Council and used to go bush bashingin my lunch hours at Marsden and Browns Plains before it was all built out
Thankfully I knew the noxious weed guys well and would always let them know where I was going.... needed their assistance a couple of times after not showing back at work in the afty... was nicknamed Harry Butler for some reason
Always looked out of place a mud splattered buzz box in the middle of the staff car park.
Amazing fun.... but not really a touring vehicle...but loved the simplicity of it all.
