Sorry to be pedantic, but having been brought up in a Lagonda household (I have pics of me behind the wheel of a Lagonda when I'm a couple of years old) these things matter

This a shot of Dad's 1935 Lagonda Rapier taken in France on the 2009 Fougeres Rallye.

And in a different Rapier cresting The Wall at Templestowe Hill Climb probably in the late 70's, early 80's. "Ever Keen" is a book Dad put together a couple of years ago which compiles histories of cars owned by members of the Rapier Register.

And this is from a recent Alpine Trial

It's been a while since anyone posed here, try a written format instead of a picture.

Work on the first XYZ car had been started in 1895, significantly designed from first principles as a car, not a horseless carriage, and it ran on the public roads in February or March 1896.[3] It had a single cylinder 1306 cc engine with the piston having two connecting rods to separate crankshafts and flywheels rotating in opposite directions giving very smooth running. A two-cylinder engine was fitted to the same chassis in 1897 and a second complete car was built alongside it. This led on to the first production cars in 1900, when six were made as demonstrators.[3] These had two-cylinder, 4033 cc, horizontal air-cooled engines, retaining the twin crankshaft design. Steering was by side lever not wheel. The gearbox used epicyclic gearing. The first cars were sold to the public in 1901

Maybe for you Brian but I suspect that Sprint just pasted the question into a search engine, which I don't think is in keeping with the spirit of the game.

Hmm thread stalled - OK let's try a few where we show just very small parts of a car, but parts that can be used to ID the car, and guess from there.

    First....
