Recently,we found this old pic,and were wondering what the car on the right is?
We have no idea, maybe someone on here knows?

    Taken Nigeria,Christmas,1956.
The Series 1 would have been six months old,at that time.

55ish Chev. Probably Bel Air. Probably just as new as the Series.

Notice the resemblance to the FC Holden?

I'm surprised you didn't recognise it Paul, they were pretty iconic to young fellas of our vintage.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

Hmm,yes, it was my parents daily for over 20yrs,so i should have.
    Oh,and it is still here.

By the time i was interested in cars it was mainly Holdens and Toranas, late 60's onwards, for some reason, we didn't take much interest in older vehicles or the vehicles from the US,or other brands except for Fords, and Rover products.
Just the way it was in the day.

I was interested in ALL cars as a kid. Less so American cars, but only because I didn't see many. Family had MGs, Daimlers, Rollers and Bentleys. No, we weren't rich, but my "uncle" was. Mates had Holdens, so I had to become a Ford man. Wouldn't have cared a jot for LR if it hadn't been for the Army.

Mum told a story about me and cars from when I was 3.... No, I'm not repeating it here...

A Chevy of that era, in good condition, would be worth more than my L322 - a lot more.
