    hehe so they did !

Mick those are a nice model Aston but there are many similar looking (albeit American) muscle cars that can be had for a fraction of the price... but then again, that's not really the point eh !

I do like the Jensen though.
And what a great name "Interceptor" - it's as good as "Spitfire".

I'm no fan of the rear on the hardtop
    but the convertible IS nice....

In the books Fleming had Bond driving a Bentley apparently.

Perhaps it would have been appropriate for Bond to have driven an AC Aceca in one of the films.

After all, this is Ian Fleming's Aceca-

Whoever wrote that article was on drugs. A Jeep instead of a Range Rover? A Jensen Interceptor? A TVR Sagaris??? The cars were meant to be destroyed by Bond, not break down of their own accord!

    x2!!!

I think I disagree in every case (except the ford). The Hornet has much better lines than the Javelin!

Bond would have had to have chiropractic and denture work done if he took that Jeep offroad.

Did some office furniture work for a client in Perth about a year back....in their offices they had all these pictures of early Jaguars and I asked the young lady I was dealing with who's was the Jaguar enthusiast.
She replied her father in law who just happened to walk in the office and I cheekly said which one is your baby pointing to the SS100, E type Jaguar pictures on the walls.

He smiled and jestured me to follow him and we walked into the warehouse of his business.

Undecover .....in Concours d' Elegance condition were

1 x Jag SS100 Roadster with recessed spare tyre (only 2 of in the world)
    1 x Jag SK120 coupe
1 x E type Jag coupe (rated the best in Australia)
1 x Later model Jaguar coupe

I asked if he did drive them ....yes he replied ..... but I did give myself a fright the last time I took out the E type as I hadent realised the insurance had lapsed.

They were simply beautiful and all of them would have been a worthy Bond car

    Cheers

    Baggy
