    What a awesome day,Then the shootout tops it off nicely. Well done to the Gis,very good lap. I also think Wood,Perkins,Moffat should all be very proud of themselves. Three Kiwi's in the top ten is a good result from a personal point of view. Like a lot of people I am absolutely amazed at the results of GRM,Volvo,and Scott McLaughlin. What they have done this season with the Volvo in its first year is incredible. I am really looking forward to the race and i hope Scotty can get the win

    My mate John had a Volvo 740. It was astounding what that car was asked to do and did.

    Yes. That is a hat but, as you say, more for Rangie drivers.
    I was thinking more like this for a Volvo driver


    but in looking at hats, I think I should buy one of these for whan I get out in the Merc

    You're right on both counts.
    VR and VS were the best Commodores produced and that is the best hat to wear whilst driving them (even though some do put their head on backwards).
