    hmmmm I think

    " mostly composite materials "

    Would be enough to put me off.
    Call me old fashioned but I like to see planes made from metal and aluminium which is welded and rivited.
    To me when someone says, "that will be bonded" they mean glue !

    Now they are like huge AirFix kits

    Most aeroplanes these days are increasingly being made of composites. If the aeroplane is lighter then there is more payload weight available and the thing uses less fuel
