    Well, we had one of the first "BMW" MINI's. It was a hoot, but when the second child arrived was just too small. I've been following the clubman for the last year.

    To the people who think the new MINI is no good, you must drive one to understand. As to comparing them to a swift The only thing going for the swift is that it looks like a Japanese copy of a MINI.

    We're still thinking about getting a clubman. However the indications on pricing is going to be 3.5-4k more than a normal MINI. At this level I really don't see how we can justify it That would mean a chilli S clubman will be around 47-48 + onroads. And if you want metallic paint or anything else....

    We could get a cooper I suppose, but I doubt it will happen. You can get significant change from a golf GTI for that money. Also, the extra door on the right is a turn off too. I think that was a really poor decision on MINI's behalf. Don't be expecting to see too many on the road.
