The planes are an amusing distraction. I got rid of one recently but still have 5 here - ranging from a 1.3m wingspan ducted fan 'jet' that cruises at about 120k to a 1.8m wingspan Beaver. All are electric - and that can have unwanted repercussions. This is what I managed to do with the Beaver:

I put my hand straight into it. I had just built it and was setting up the right prop for power and speed. I went to write down the newest current consumption figures and just didn't see the spinning prop (it was a grey one and they are close to invisible in certain lights). After getting stitched up, first thing I did was painted the prop tips dayglo orange

I have one of those small indoor choppers. But i have been trying to find out some more on the plane ones they are a bit bigger & can be flown outdoors..
