If you can keep your mind where it's at right now the two of you will work it out.

Knowing that you have seen where you went wrong and knowing that you are determined to make it right is a great start.

The response you are looking for probably won't be immediate - you have to do the hard yards to earn your place beside her - by showing that you have recognised the need to., Not just by talking it.

It's the old 'talk the talk, walk the walk' thing.

Remember when you had the dirts over the car and we talked? You and I both know you are not a quitter and, once you really make your mind up to right this wrong, you will succeed.

Just like you have grown here with us and this thread.

Go back to the start and re-read those first few posts. Look at how you have grown over the months.

Now look inside yourself. See how much more you can grow? For both of you?

You know you can do it. You both know you are not a quitter - you've just been lazy - and it's this quick, sharp lesson that Karen is giving you that you need to take note of.

Yup - go buy your smokes. And buy her some flowers - or do something nice and spontaneous for her. See how she responds over time. Earn your place back into her heart.

And make the two of you proud.
