No need for a hemet on this stage.

Place the rim, outside up, on the floor. Valve at 12 o'clock.
    Lube the bottom bead well.
Standing at 6 o'clock, with your toes against the bottom of the rim, hold the unlubed bead with both hands. Swing it in a downward arc onto th rim.
This is more of a knack than pure strength. You can get almost 180* of the bead on with practice.
Standing on the tyre, knock the rest of the bead on with you rubber mallet, being careful not to damage the bead area.
If you're fitting a tube, now is the time to do so. Inflate just enough to position the tube without deforming the tyre.
At 180* from the valve, use a single lever to pull the now lubed upper bead past the rim.
With your foot, push the bead down level with the well of the rim.
Work the rest of the bead on with your feet, assisted if need be by a lever. You may need to persuade the last bit with a mallet.

    Good luck mate.

Hey Sleeps, hows that tyre going? Sleeps.....Sleeps.....SLEEPY......
Can someone go and check on Paul?

If you're fitting it up tubeless, you may need a rope or small ratchet strap pulled tightly round the circumference of the tread to seal the beads until inflated.

Or get Pat to talk sternly to it, preferably into the valve stem.

Often it's better to inflate the tyre with no valve core fitted, putting the core in after the beads have seated properly.

You can buy soft rubber donuts, that when generously lubed, seal the upper bead during inflation. As the tyre inflates the ring is forced out.
