Just got back from our social club christmas party on the "SolarSailor". What a great afternoon, perfect for a sail on the lake. Talk about futuristic technology, I was fascinated by the layout on the "SolarSailor".

SolarSailor coming in to dock at Speers Point jetty. Note the panels on the top that look like wings, they lift up to align the solar panels with the sun.

    Lining up with the jetty.

    The ships bridge. Computers everywhere.

The solar panels lifted into position and facing the sun.

One of the electric motors that power the boat. Fuel costs are minimal.

    Technical details on the motor.

All in all it was a great day, had a few beers and Mrs Aus and I enjoyed the company of some fellow workers away from the work place.

Had to have 2 biopsy's taken.. When done she had to lay around for hours after it..Got back home around 4pm.. Was sore when home so slept well for awhile But is very very sore today , She cant walk or sit for long so has to lay down.. we need to make an appointment with the specialist ASAP as he wanted us back within the week of the biopsy..
We will keeps use updated as we find out more ..
She is still loosing weight alarmingly fast though & isn't eating to much..

    Hello Jason,

Sorry that the procedure was more arduous than it could have been for Karen. I hope that Karen recovers well and the specialist has some good news for you both. Take care Jason.

    Kind Regards

    Chook Update.

The chook is standing gingerly on one leg now, it's resting the other leg on the ground but putting no weight on it.Its wing is still hanging down and it has a droopy tail. but it has improved.

Na not yet.. I have finished all the wirring now so everything is hooked up.. Need to fix some holes & a couple of leaks ..Need the tail pipe welded on. & need a realy good tune up. I cant do the tune up to computerised for me. But I will but all new plugs & leads & change all the filters & fluids that way it can just go round & be tuned up..

We cant get into see the specialist till the 14th of Jan , Karen is still sore from the biopsy & I don't want to bounce her around up the bush to much..

We where going to go stay up at Samurai beach for a night , But have found out they have a huge new years eve party up there , they even set up a bar and all.. The beach is only a kilometre long so will wait a little before we head up there..

we spent hours lat night putting the roof rack back on, as I picked up two surf skis today--n I am selling some surf skis. That is it is now driveable again even if the body is bent and looks very rough, the chassis is NOT bent--I drove it 75 odd Km today. Hand-brake no longer works though, have to fix that, tomorrow if its not raining, after taking some RR brake calipers off-- we are doing up a RR which will be converted to Isuzu diesel as a replacement for the disco.

Love the sound of the supercharger on the Mustang, on the Australian made Boomerang fighter it sounded even better.
Though I would like to get to Temora it has never happened. However my name is down to help the RFS Northern Rivers Support Brigade set up a display of Water Bombing at the Even's Head Fly in on the 10-12 of January [I help set up on Friday the 10th and I am helping out as a volunteer on Sunday the 12th.] Not sure if we actually will have a water bomber flying though. This will be a first for me. Taking a Sleeping bag and finding somewhere to camp.
