A neighbour down the end of our culdesac asked if I wanted some wood for my fire as he was going to cut down a tree at one of his friends place.:)
I of cause said yes so he turned up this arvo with a trailor full of wood, its still green so won't be any good this winter, but will be nice for next winter. Mrs Aus and I have just come in from carting it round the back and stacking it, took about half an hour to do.:)
Some of the neighbours here are nice, not like certain dickheads that I have crossed swords with.

These are the pics of the wheels taken ages ago , been sitting in shed .I forgot to write the brand & size down.. I have the wheel nuts for them to..
Jason, I only read your post declining my visit today. I tried to visit you on Sunday, but spent an hour driving around [in the Subaru my son had bought, and that I had picked up for him in Sydney] trying to find your place then gave up. I was sure I could find it again, and recognized one place on the way to it--was a passenger with Karen driving when I last visited. At about 2.45 PM I was driving away from your suburb back towards the highway. and passed a Yellow Series-- and it looked like you driving it. But could not do a U turn to catch up and say hello.
I do hope you are both well, John.
Tomorrow is a particularly sad day for me........:(
40 years ago on the 23/5/1974, just a couple of days before the "Sygna" storm here in Newcastle my first wife died after suffering a massive asthma attack...........:( she was only 27 years old.:( Hadn't even lived yet and her life was snatched away.:(
I have put a notice in the "In Memory" section of the "Newcastle Herald" for tomorrow:(
I will go up to Beresfield Cemetery on Saturday and just spend some time to remember her.:(
Thinking of you at this sad time Jim.
Sorry for your pain.
It's gone from an acute pain to a dull ache nowadays John. We had almost 9 happy years together, so I remember the good times.:)
However, the years roll on and you can't let unpleasant memories weigh you down, you must get on with life. I have been happily re-married now for 38 years.:)
