Embarrassment

Unfortunatly in the last 6 weeks ive had to turn down quite a bit of work as my multitool & my bench grinder that I use just isn't cutting it . So I have to get a new proper knife grinder but the cost is way to much at #2300 minumn plus freight .. Plus my buffing grinder died . So ive found a away I can get a brand new knife grinder for $1300 by building it myself using Australian sorced equipment. So in the new year I'm somehow going to start & build one then I can use my grinder that I use now for knives as my buffing grinder & get back into it .. Heres some pics one a knife grinder I'm going to build it wont be the exact same as ive made some mods to the plans to make it better & more suite to me ..These take a 72 inch belt so much better last longer & run cooler..

So that's where we are at the moment I hope I haven't bored use all to much. Ill keep use posted on how I go with my grinder build..

Ive also now got all the steering in Harry aswell . I now need to buy some sheet steel so I can make the trans tunnel . then its pretty much just pull all the body back off & get it painted..

Well done mate just love your Knifes and craftsmanship

I thought i had lost my knife Swedish (Moria) laminated carbon steel i`ve had for a very very long time .
Man that knife has seen some guts and skins in its life

Any way as id thought i had lost my good friend which i paid no joke $ 1.50 for new some years ago

The hunt started for another the same and i found one in Sweden online and bought it for about $40 then i found my old knife now i have 2

Your old one will be much better. Some people have been having trouble with the new ones. The laminate has been coming apart.

I haven't started yet. But that's just what it will be like. There a beast there 2hp variable speed. You know you've been bitten by them they bit you I can tell you. Will make life a lot easier for me & give a better finish & quality.
