Hi guys
Just a quick one - just got home from helping Rick with his series 1. I think there is more grease on me and my clothes than on the prop shafts I have been working on - replaced all the prop shaft universals today and sanded the shafts down ready for painting. My hands are sore, my back is sore...
Won't be long. Clutch and brakes were also setup today and the tub got a final sand.
Paint the firewall tomorrow and install it. Once the firewall is in we can start looking at some of the other body parts. All the other bits were sanded last weekend so they won't take long.
Hey Aus how did the wine tour guiding go today,, did you end up with anyone offering you a free bottle for your driving & guiding...

No wine, which doesn't matter, I'm not a wine drinker, they were nice country people from up around Quirindi and they were very nice to talk to which made the day pleasant, tomorrow I am doing Comcar work picking up at Williamtown and going to Nelson Bay and then Forster and then back to Williamtown, so I get around and the job types vary which means I don't get bored doing the same thing all the time!!!![]()
Hey Drifter how about some piccies of the project you are working on!!!![]()

Finally got it on at about 5pm. The tub is all masked up ready for painting and is on the chassis - also waiting to be bolted in. The seat box has been placed in to make sure everything still lines up. Front guards were painted today, too.
I replaced the seal behind the rear propshaft and installed the rear propshaft today.
Doors and bonnet are nearly ready to go on.
Still waiting for the wiring loom to arrive - but things are happening.
