Latest on my home front, Jase!!That American Forum that I joined has asked me if I would be interested in being a Mod, not a foregone conclusion yet, it has to be discussed behind the scenes!! I was surprised to learn they have over 82,000 members!!
I am enjoying reading those old copies of "LandRover World", Jase!!!I am up to Issue 8 from October 1994. Lots of interesting tips in doing up old Landies. Also interesting articles on converting 24V, FFR Landies to 12V. Good stuff!!

G'Day CarolynThis Mod business, I can take it or leave it, it's no big deal. On the Pommy Forum, which is only a small one, I've been a Mod for two years now and only ever had to wear my "Mod Hat" once when somebody posted a poem that was inappropriate for a family Forum. The Poms are great fun, very layback and Admin/Mods have a relaxed attitude as long as Forum members realise that it is a family friendly Forum.
The Yanks on the other hand are much more straightlaced and formal and it so happens they did have an Aussie Moderator (from Queensland actually) who died just before I joined and as was indicated to me in the offer they need somebody to Mod in a different time zone to North America.
Just received another PM from them that all is looking good and they are approaching Admin to have me "assigned"!!
I guess that will tie me up, I think Modding on two Forums is sufficient, as I work full time and there are only so many hours in the day!!!![]()

I hear you Carolyn and quite frankly, I'm the type of person who is not at all interested in gossip, not interested in "cliques" and if the Modding is causing me stress I will pull out quick smart. The Pommy Forum has not caused me any worry at all, as I said before it is only a small Forum and everybody (mostly) get along great and they know the rules.I have wondered why you are not a Mod on this Forum as you appear to know a lot of people who pull the strings here!!
The American Forum, is not a LandRover site and even though it is a large one, moves slowly, they use the same basic Forum Programme as this one and the Mods have their own sections to look after, same as here.
There is an Australian Section on it and I guess they will hand that to me, if I pass final muster with Admin, I'm not home and hosed yet!!
