Thread: Embarrassment

After my long trip away, today I received my mail being held by a neighbour, and there was an unexpected card from Karen and Jason.

Well i had Tony & his father call in today.Filled the trailer & the back of the ute with parts for them..Tony's Father is a nice bloke (Steve) i think was his name..Yakked for awhile & loaded all the bits up & Tony gave me some grills.& a set of extractors for a landy 4cyl..I like young Tony he's a nice young fella & easy to talk to even for a RANGA..

Did use beat the rain home.We had a huge down poor & Cardiff flooded in about an hour..

Glad everything went well, except maybe for the rain!!

we got home and barely unloaded and down it came we got 27mm in 30mins and then 8mm later and 19mm over night so in total 54mm and 2 days of flooding. I dont know if you heard but a few cars got stranded and I know of at least one car that got swept off the causeway. they had to send 2 ses and 2 ambos out.
the creek came up and then all of sudden a big wave came and and was rising 15-20cm per minute over a 10 minute period. I will get some photos and videos up later

thanks jason I like you to even for a towny oh ah thats right its on. no one calls me ranga and gets away with it except for that one guy who said it and then ran away too fast , he got away with it, but besides him no one calls me ranga and gets away with it

How did use go getting the crane back out..I would of just pushed it & see where it landed..

Hey is anyone else having trouble with recieving emails saying you have a reply to posts..I have'nt been geting any for a few days.Cant work it out .All my thread subscritions are right But no emails to tell me So i have to check on here regulary to see if anyone has posted..

we got it out easy there were 3 of us. so far we have the old one out and just started on the other one. having a break for a few days and then the 3 of us are getting back into it on wednesday and thursday afternoon.
