Well haven't been on much. Not getting emails to say there's been a post. I've been down a fair bit lately depression again. Mostly out of boredom seem when I try to do any work in the shed it gets kicked down before it even starts. Karen is getting extremely tired again & has to have a few hours sleep daily. We go back to the specialist again the Tuesday after Easter. That's about it from us. Hope everyone has a safe & happy Easter long weekend.

    Hello Sheerluck,

I hope it gets resolved the second time around and that you have a speedy recovery.

Thanks Lionel. I don't like the sound of what's coming my way - will be getting another opinion before I let anyone near me with a knife this time.

    G'day Jason,

It is a real bugger about the black dog jumping you and with Karen getting tired again.

Sometimes it is best to set very small goals in the day even if it is step 0.5 of a 20 step process. Try and do too much in the down days and things either do not get achieved; or get done incorrectly. The result of which is that one dumps more poo on oneself. Or instead of doing something practical and hands-on you could have a day mapping out a strategy - sort of measure twice and cut once.

I have been trying to get back into the study and writing saddle after taking a break for a couple of weeks. It has taken me nearly a week to get back into the swing of things again. I actually did a decent day of work today. Oh yes I did have to take things easy on myself with how much progress or lack thereof I had made in each of the previous days.

Or maybe it was just the motivation of having a supervisory visit with my Principal Supervisor on Thursday that has geed me up I swear the Professor must be the incarnation of an Inquisitor from a dark period of Spanish history.

Treasure the good days and set reasonably small goals for the not so good days so when you are about to go to sleep you can reflect on achieving something from the day.

    Kind Regards
    Lionel
