That's OK Jason, I understand you have your worries. I think that is enough for one person.![]()
I missed a page here. I don't seem to get the emails much. Sometimes I do then they stop then they start again. Ah well. I hope mrs aus feels better soon Jim. Sorry I didn't ring you back the day she went for the op. I remembered but was late then I thought mrs aus be sleeping a bit with the pain killers & didn't want to maybe wake her.
If they told me when I got there that I would be awake I'd have just left or hit someone. That's just crazy.

Well the disco died this morning. Wouldn't start. Turned over fine. So checked for spark that was all good. Then I realised I couldn't hear the fuel pump pressurise itself. So got the manuals out every manual told a different spot & a different colour for the relays so I gave up on that. Still haven't found the relays for the fuel pump. So I checked the fuel pump for voltage. There was over 10 volts so it was getting power. The battery was worked hard a morning trying to start it & test things so I recon that's why the volts where down. Anyway so waited for Fred to finish work & went & got a new fuel pump. Starts now. But we have to put Karens specialists appointment tomorrow off till next week or the week after on our good pay week. $200 for the pump & seal kit. It's done now. This pump it quieter then the old one so I didn't think it was working. But it is. The old pump read just under quarter of a tank of fuel the new one says it's empty & the fuel light is on so Karen just ran down the road to put the last $10 in it. She just pulled up so car is still going. So have no idea which pump reading is correct. Karen just said it's working she put the $10 in it & it now says quarter of a tank. So I guess we will just have to see how it goes. She is going to work tomorrow now to do the job she was supposed to do today plus pay rent & get some groceries.

Look on the bright side Jason. You have mechanical knowledge so you have a pretty good chance of tracking down the problem.
If it was me, I would have to take it to a garage and pay them labour plus parts.![]()
Yeah your right. I'd hate to know the final cost if we had to pay someone to do the job. Karens getting the ****s with the staff at all 4x4. Karen told them what we needed yet they insist on telling us to check this & check that. Karen said um yeah we already did all that but it could be this or that. They look at her as if to say yeah right like you know what your on about. It's all the new staff. We usually just deal with pommy dave as he knows if we say we need this part he knows that's the part we need. Then says to any other customers that need help with there series he says you should go see this lady's husband he will tell you what's wrong real quick. I gave up using the manual as it was just confusing us & making me second guess what I thought was wrong. Karen gets into arguments with the new staff when they bring her the wrong part so she tells them it's wrong go get another one. When she proves them wrong they look at her sideways & treat her like crap. She's over that. They go threw new staff up there all the time. Anyway the car seems fixed now so that's all I care.

She went back to the Doctor today, she is getting pain in the front of the lower gum and she was hoping it was not infected. He took her in and looked at it and said it's fine. She gets the stitches out on Friday.
Yeah, I hope Lionel is OK too. He looks in here every now and then, if we don't hear from him soon, I'll PM him. Actually, come to think of it, I'm sure I saw a post from him yesterday somewhere else on the Forum.
The daughter up at Bundaberg is not happy at all. Her leg is still not healing properly (been 3 months now) so she went to Brisbane for another opinion on whether to have a plate put in her leg.She is getting frustrated with the senior doctor at Bundaberg Base Hospital. He doesn't want to put a plate in.
The doctor at Brisbane said "no" we recommend you put up with it as putting in a plate is a last resort. It is healing but very slowly. They have given her another "special boot" to wear and when I was talking to her yesterday she said at least she is out of the wheelchair and getting around on crutches.
Hello Jason and Jim,
Eyes are still the same. I start the process of getting new lenses in Brisbane next Monday, the 30th of June. I will be measured up for a new set of lenses. So trip one of four return trips will be taking place. So one step closer to rejoining the world of the sighted.
I have been recovering slowly from some fever like bug over the past two weeks. So I have been a bit quite and been on a couple of courses of antibiotics. I am on the mend.
Thank you for your concern Jason and JimJim I hope your daughter's leg picks up its rate of healing too.
Kind Regards
Lionel
