    Hello All,

    This time next week - 7 dark sleeps away, I will be sitting in the specialist's chair being fitted with my brand new - Scleral lenses. Then I start the process of being able to see properly again!

    Apologies for my absence. I have been quite busy with uni work.
    At my college I have been appointed Community project manager which is quite exciting and very busy. Our first project is a community garden that links us with a local primary school. It is a lot of hard work when you have no money and need to chase up donations and grants on offer.
    I have just finished an assignment which requires us to create an Eportfolio which we build on throughout our degree. Mine is very basic but the first step of getting it setup has been done. If anyone gets bored here is the link eportfolio

    This week we had politics dinner at college and we were very fortunate to have former Prime Minister, Malcolm Fraser.
    He had lots of very interesting things to say about the past and current and also future politics and Australia.

    Yes, he has become quite the elder statesman. I have read his book and I like a lot of what he has to say.

    However, back in 1975, when the Whitlam Government was dismissed by the Governer General, I couldn't stand a bar of him. I thought he was a dirty backstabbing bastard.

    I notice Whitlam and him get along quite well now.
