Thread: Prawns into Brisbane

Gday All,

We are tossing up the idea of offering some of our by-catch, mainly Morton bay bugs..

This is going to require alot of help at your end as we have to keep these whole due to a size limit that is measured across the head.We pack them in 1kg bags, and because of this a master carton only holds about 6-7kgs.

I would need to send all the bugs together and you would need to seperate the order at your end.If I tried to seperate the bugs into orders like the prawns, the freight cost would kill the idea due to the amount of boxes I would need to send.

If this could work I would look at charging $21 kilo.

Think about it, so check what you pay locally and let me have some idea if you think it could work.

3x3 kg (9kg) of 15/25 Endeavours

Again,

I have commercial refrigeration and freezer, plus vehicle and retail approved scales to sort at this end with both the bugs and prawns.

I will be placing an order as well soon.

Hi went down too well last year , so if possible may I get 8 x 3kg endeavour prawns, I will do 2kg of Bugs as well if anyone else is keen, I will buy more to make up orders as needed ie( 3x3kg plus 2 kg of bugs as well) When order finalised will pay same as last year, many thanks Boger

Can do just need to know what size Endeavours you want.
