Rear parking sensors incorporated into the bar?

    Hey Ben,

Really like the rear bar but one of the main reasons I haven't taken the plunge to get rid of my stock rear bar and put one of these wheel carrier bars on is because I don't want to lose my rear parking sensors.

Any chance you can make a version which has the same holes pre-drilled into the bar so that I can transfer the sensors across and still be able to keep my rear parking sensor functionality?

I'd buy the rear bar if you can make one where I can keep my sensors!

Oh, I am interested in the pair of red front recovery points too, how much are they? Are they available now to buy? I have a 2004 TD5 D2a.

    Cheers,

    Ernie.

    Hi Ernie
I don't see any issue with the rear parking sensors, I've not dealt with a vehicle with them at this stage but I'm positive I can get around it.
The recovery points are $88 for the pair.
    Regards
    Ben

    Hi Ben,

Cool, no worries. I'll give you a shout closer to the time when I'm ready to get a rear bar then. But I will grab those recovery points now though. Are they available from your website? I'm in Sydney so will need you to post them down.

Let me know what's the best way to proceed.

    Cheers,

    Ernie.

So does the carrier now open with the rear door or is it still a separate action? Is the wheel mount adjustable? Do you have any closer pics?

Looking for something at the moment while the rear door lining is off after the hinges got bent by the door swinging open. SWMBO doesn't want to swing the wheel and then the door though...

    Cheers,

    question re rear bar.
i have simalar bar already and i find it gets pushed up quite easily if it gets a hit, causing the door to catch. big hammer and block of wood sorts it out.
how is yours braced (if any) to avoid upward movement? because if not braced i can see the wheel pushing into the door in serious cases.

    cheers
