    Thanks,
I'd love to make stuff for all Land Rover models, but I'm a one man operation and need to grow an extra pair of hands to be able to do all the stuff I'd like to do.

O can see the room for exapnsion here Murray....perhaps you need to Tee up with someone that makes only Disco stuff..and put yourselves under one banner

I feel quite proud that we have had an AULRO member do what you have done Murray bulding the quality stuff that you build and servicing the Land Rover community giving them what they want.

I feel the same way about Mulgo too .

Thanks for your kind words Lou,
I take pride in what I do too, and it's very satisfying to see something I've made on the back of someone else's car.
Fellow members on this forum have been especially pleasant to deal with, and very helpful with ideas and suggestions for product design or improvements to existing products.
Daniel (Mulgo) has been a great help, not only endorsing and selling my products, but with general advise for my new business. A few years ago he was probably in a similar situation just starting out. We will be sharing a site at the Vic 4WD Show again in Feb.

    Cheers, Murray

Fitted my Rijidij dual wheel carrier shortly after Christmas, prior to getting the Defender painted, as I wanted to move the rear lights to the bar and get the blanking discs painted on the car.

I think this is one of the original batch of four bars that Murray built last year, I've just been a bit slow off the mark.

The workmanship is fantastic, and it's a bulletproof bit of kit. Fitting was very straightforward, with the wiring taking the most time, although even that was easy.

Only issue I ran into was where the rear cross-member of the Defender had been dropped on something hard by a PO, which meant the lower face was pushed in a little. Had to straighten that to get the bar's mounting plates to fit in correctly.

Being a Tdi, there were no NAS style reversing lights/fog lights which the bar requires, but I was able to source those from Roverparts without issue. Went with two clear reversing lights.

Nice one Murray, I'm very happy

I am so excited about this product - I was considering getting a standard swing away wheel carrier for my Dfer and having something fabricated to carry a couple of jerries on the rear. No need now, this is literally exactly what I've been looking for. Now to persuade the wife . . .

    D3 Carrier

    Hi Murray,

Sold the Puma a few weeks back to another Ambo in Sydney, looking for a RWC for my D3, saw some prototype pictures on your page, any idea on production time frame? Will you be doing a double for d3's?

I have done a second prototype which has been fitted to a members D3, but I need to do some further mods. Unfortunately I can't give you a time frame as I'm flat out with other stuff.
The D3 carrier could be made for L/H and R/H so could be used as a double, but the visibility of the rear lights then becomes a problem and there's nowhere to fit extra lights such as if you were to fit a rear bar.

    Cheers, Murray
